Disney.Pixar Animation Studios with world-renowned technical, creative and production capabilities in the art of computer animation, has created some of the most successful and adored animated films of all time. The brand’s impressive roster includes landmark titles like Toy Story films, Cars series, Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, WALL•E, Up, Brave, Inside Out and Finding Dory, which is amongst the top 10 Highest Grossing Animation Films in India. Internationally, Disney.Pixar movies have won 31 Academy Awards and over 20 Golden Globes.
Marvel produces movies based on the world’s most prominent and iconic comic book empire – Marvel Entertainment – comprising of over 8,000 characters. So far 32 Marvel titles have been released in India and served over 102.16 million patrons. Three out of the Top 10 Hollywood movies in India are from Marvel brand! Locally, the most popular blockbuster film franchises are the Avengers series, the Iron Man titles, the Captain America series and the amazing Guardians of the Galaxy. In recent times, a slew of newer superheroes like Thor, Ant-Man, Winter Soldier and Doctor Strange were introduced to movie watching audience.
LucasFilm weaves together visual effects, audio post-production, cutting-edge digital animation and interactive entertainment software to create for its entertainment properties such as the legendary STAR WARS and INDIANA JONES franchises. The Indian audience got a glimpse of the sci-fi realm with titles like Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, with Star Wars: The Last Jedi up for release this year.
UTV Motion Pictures has been a dominant player in the Indian film industry and frontrunner in bringing Indian films to a global audience. UTV has a rich library including titles such as Rang De Basanti, Jodhaa Akbar, A Wednesday, Dev D, Khosla Ka Ghosla, The Namesake, Life in a Metro, Oye Lucky!
